Basketball Recap: Faith Academy Comes Up Short

Faith Academy lost against Victoria Cobra HomeSchool back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Faith Academy Cougars took a 36-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Victoria Cobra HomeSchool Cobra. The loss leaves the Cougars without a win on the season.

Mary Jane Ripa continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Victoria Cobra HomeSchool, putting up 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Liddie Baylor, who posted six points.

Faith Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Victoria Cobra HomeSchool, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Faith Academy Cougars duke it out with the Waelder Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Academy is facing Waelder at the right time seeing as Waelder is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Victoria Cobra HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-11 victory against Runge on the 14th.
