Volleyball Recap: Belvidere Takes a Loss

Belvidere was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waukegan Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bucs of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20.

Belvidere's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Waukegan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Belvidere has already played their next game (against Rockford East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Waukegan, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Saint Viator on the 15th.
