Families Instructing Students HomeSchool faced Central Baptist Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Lions. Makayla Calzada was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Central Baptist Christian. Makayla Eccleston played for 30 minutes having averaged 16 this season and Makenzie Eccleston got 35 vs. an average of 13.4. Makayla made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

The win made it two in a row for Families Instructing Students HomeSchool and bumps their season record up to 11-1-2.
