Football Game Preview: Little Elm Lobos vs. Marcus Marauders + How To Watch

The Little Elm Lobos will square off against the Marcus Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Little Elm's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Guyer on Thursday. They took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 29-0. The Lobos haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Even if they lost, Little Elm's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Aidan 'Blue' Mayne was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Marcus, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They strolled past Flower Mound with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 32-14. The victory continues a trend for the Marauders in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won four in a row.

Marcus' win came from a few key players Little Elm will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kade McKnight, who rushed for 123 yards and one touchdown. Those 123 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Carter Francis helped out on the ground, rushing for 92 yards.

Marcus was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 356 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Marcus now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Little Elm, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Little Elm was taken down by Marcus 66-14 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Marauders' Colton Nussmeier, who threw for 150 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 49 yards and one score.
