Soccer Game Preview: Seton vs. Hampton Roads Academy + Official Tickets

The Seton Conquistadors will take on the Hampton Roads Academy Navigators at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Seton's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Hampton Roads Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Seton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: Immanuel Christian, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Seton was ranked second). The Conquistadors never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 5-0 win last Friday. Considering Seton have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Hampton Roads Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Eastern Mennonite on Friday, sneaking past 1-0. Hampton Roads Academy's winning goal came courtesy of Luke Sablan.

The victory (which was Seton's third in a row) raised their record to 13-1-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Hampton Roads Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1.

Seton beat Hampton Roads Academy 3-1 in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Conquistadors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
