Basketball Recap: Crimson Cliffs Comes Up Short

Crimson Cliffs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 59-41 to the Cedar Reds. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-62 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Crimson Cliffs still got an impressive performance from Coco Korella, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Korella a new career-high. Zee Brinagh was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Crimson Cliffs' loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Cedar, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

When Crimson Cliffs and Cedar next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Crimson Cliffs will face off against Desert Hills and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Cedar will try to stop Snow Canyon's 20-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
