Olmsted Falls has gone 6-0 against Elyria recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Olmsted Falls Bulldogs are headed away from home for the first time to face off against the Elyria Pioneers at 5:45 p.m. Olmsted Falls will be strutting in after a victory while Elyria will be coming in after a loss.

Last Saturday, Olmsted Falls humbled North Ridgeville with a 55-20 victory. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Rangers are ranked 424th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Elyria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 52-15 loss at the hands of Avon. The Pioneers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-5.

The win made it two in a row for Olmsted Falls and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Elyria, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Olmsted Falls against Elyria when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 61-29 victory. Does Olmsted Falls have another victory up their sleeve, or will Elyria turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
