The Sharyland Rattlers will head out on the road to square off against the Valley View Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Sharyland has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, Sharyland sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over McAllen Memorial.

Sharyland saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fabrizio Salinas, who went 1-for-3 with a stolen base. Salinas has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single run in three consecutive pitching appearances.

Meanwhile, Valley View narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Vela 2-1. The victory was just what Valley View needed coming off of an 8-0 loss in their prior match.

Juan Castillo made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Castillo was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
