Baseball Recap: Kerman Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Kerman and Selma, and Selma kept the tradition alive. The Lions came up short against the Bears on Tuesday, falling 13-3. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 5-4 to the Bears when the teams met back in March of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Charlton Manha made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven Luna, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Kerman's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Selma, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kerman will head out to take on Tulare Western at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Selma, they will venture away from home to square off against Hoover at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
