Lake Brantley proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Seabreeze Sandcrabs 4-3. The win was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Jakob Wilson looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Justus Mike, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Mauger, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Lake Brantley's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Seabreeze, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Lake Brantley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 victory against Lyman on the 25th. As for Seabreeze, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Winter Springs on the 26th.
