Baseball Recap: Northside - Pinetown Drops Highest Score of Season Against Pamlico County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northside - Pinetown). They came out on top against the Pamlico County Hurricanes by a score of 9-4 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Trenton Allen was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Memphis Keech was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Northside - Pinetown's record is now 4-9. As for Pamlico County, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northside - Pinetown will square off against rival East Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pamlico County is set to take on their familiar foe Southside at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
