Soccer Game Preview: Grenada vs. Canton + Official Tickets

The Grenada Chargers are taking a road trip to take on the Canton Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Grenada is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Independence on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Grenada's goal came courtesy of Tristan Johnson, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Canton made sure to put some goals up on the board against Jim Hill on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Jim Hill an 8-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for Canton in their matchups with Jim Hill: they've now won five in a row.

With that draw, Grenada's record moves to 0-4-1. As for Canton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Grenada suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Canton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Chargers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
