Basketball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 40-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Port Clinton Redskins. The Chargers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Redskins earlier this season, when they won 50-45.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Port Clinton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edison will face off against Firelands at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Port Clinton has already played their next contest (against Huron), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
