Volleyball Recap: Spanish Fork Falls Short of Alta in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Spanish Fork can now relate to. They fell just short of the Alta Hawks by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in March.

Spanish Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Alta, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Spanish Fork didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Clearfield on the 9th. As for Alta, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Viewmont on the 9th.
