Football Game Preview: Broken Arrow Tigers vs. Westmoore Jaguars + Official Tickets

Broken Arrow is 8-1 against Westmoore since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Broken Arrow has five straight wins, Westmoore has 15 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Broken Arrow is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oklahoma's top teams: Edmond Memorial, who was ranked 11th at the time (Broken Arrow was ranked fifth). Broken Arrow's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeramiah Ssettimba, who threw for 154 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 68 yards. That's the most rushing yards Ssettimba has posted since back in August. Broken Arrow's leading receiver Samaj Stanford was Ssettimba's top target yet again, picking up 48 receiving yards, while also rushing for 65 yards on only five carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Broken Arrow was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 206 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 206 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Westmoore took a blow against Union on Thursday, falling 44-7.

Broken Arrow's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Westmoore, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything came up roses for Broken Arrow against Westmoore in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 49-7 victory. In that matchup, the Tigers amassed a halftime lead of 42-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
