Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

After flying high against Annapolis on Friday, Roosevelt came back down to earth. The Bears came up short against the Woodhaven Warriors on Monday, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Woodhaven this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in April.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-2. As for Woodhaven, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Roosevelt will face off against rival Lincoln Park at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Woodhaven is set to square off against their familiar foe Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
