Parkwood waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Wolf Pack have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellow Jackets, too.

Parkwood never let Forest Hills on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14, 25-22.

Parkwood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rowyn Burkey, who had 28 assists and four aces. Burkey is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 28 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Schroeder, who had 26 assists.

Parkwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Forest Hills, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkwood will square off against West Stanly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forest Hills, they will take on Montgomery Central at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
