Atlantic City skates past Bridgeton with ease

The Atlantic City Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 90-63 victory over Bridgeton on the road. Atlantic City has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Atlantic City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mikel Jones, who scored 19 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Khajuan Roseborough, who scored 22 points along with three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Bridgeton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jameel Purnell. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 29 points and 18 rebounds. Purnell is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down 13 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zikwon Anderson, who scored 14 points.

The victory (which was Atlantic City's fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Bridgeton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Atlantic City will be playing in front of their home fans against Hammonton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Atlantic City is coming into the contest with five straight wins at home, so Hammonton is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Bridgeton, they will head out on the road to face off against Haddon Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
