Kalama won the last time they faced Battle Ground and things went their way on Monday too. The Kalama Chinooks blew past the Battle Ground Tigers 48-27. The Chinooks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Kalama was led to victory by Hannah Johnson and Aubrey Doerty. Johnson posted 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals, while Doerty put up 15 points. Doerty is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Rylie Cadigan was another key player, putting up five points and five steals.

Battle Ground's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lola Cooper, who earned six points, and Charlie Jones, who had six points.

Kalama's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23 points. As for Battle Ground, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Kalama wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-43 victory against Columbia on the 21st. Battle Ground has also already played their next game, a 69-16 defeat against Camas on the 27th.
