Basketball Recap: Union Grove Comes Up Short

Union Grove lost against Burlington back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Union Grove Broncos lost to the Burlington Demons at home by a 73-55 margin. The Broncos' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Union Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Burlington, they moved to 1-5 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Grove and Milwaukee Reagan will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burlington will take on Elkhorn in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Elkhorn knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Burlington likes a good challenge.
