Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bartram Trail walked away with it. They came out on top against the Nease Panthers by a score of 3-1 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 last Thursday.

Bartram Trail had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-16, 25-21, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Nease lost, don't look at Isabella Hayes. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and four assists. Hayes is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Bartram Trail is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Nease, they dropped their record down to 7-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Bartram Trail has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Fletcher on the 14th. Nease does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
