On Thursday Jack Meckel pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits, which was good enough to also set a new career-low in walks. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with less than two walks. On the year, he has an ERA of 3.50 over 26 innings pitched.
