Basketball Recap: Bishop Neumann Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Cecilia last Saturday, Bishop Neumann came back down to earth. The Bishop Neumann Cavaliers fell to the Mount Michael Benedictine Knights 52-46. The loss was the Cavaliers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bishop Neumann fell to 2-1. As for Mount Michael Benedictine, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Neumann will head out to face off against Norfolk Catholic at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Michael Benedictine, they will square off against Ralston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
