Jefferson Forest put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Glass Hilltoppers 9-3. Nine seems to be a good number for the Cavaliers as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Jefferson Forest pushed their record up to 18-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Glass, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jefferson Forest will face off against rival Brookville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Glass is set to square off against their familiar foe Liberty Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hilltoppers 3.9, the Bulldogs 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
