Softball Recap: Milaca Wolves vs. Albany Huskies
Milaca extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 15 on Monday, dropping them down to 0-7. They came up short against the Albany Huskies, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 7-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.
As for Albany, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Considering they have won three games by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
For Albany's part, the team relied heavily on Brooke Scepaniak, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Brickweg, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
