Soccer Recap: Lapel Falls Short of Bremen in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lapel couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Bremen Lions on Saturday, falling 4-0. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for Lapel, who until this matchup were averaging 0.45 goals allowed.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lapel fell to 19-1. As for Bremen, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3-1 record this season.

Lapel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bremen, they will challenge Heritage Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
