Basketball Recap: Seton Catholic Central Piles Up the Points Against Willsboro Central

A well-balanced attack led Seton Catholic Central over Willsboro Central in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Seton Catholic Central Knights blew the Willsboro Central Warriors out of the water with a 50-18 final score. With the Knights ahead 30-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Seton Catholic Central was led to victory by Grace Trombley and Dayline Willette. Trombley dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds, while Willette went 6 of 14 on her way to 12 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Those 12 points gave Willette a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Monique Allen, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 10 points and five steals.

The win made it two in a row for Seton Catholic Central and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seton Catholic Central will welcome Schroon Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Willsboro Central, they will host Chazy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
