Norfolk Catholic entered their tilt with Lutheran-Northeast on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The Knights not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 2, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Norfolk Catholic walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-13.

Ava Wemhoff paced Norfolk Catholic's offense, picking up 16 kills. Wemhoff got some help from Sidonia Wattier and her 28 assists. Wattier also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kinsey Chandler, racking up two apiece.

Despite the defeat, Lutheran-Northeast saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ava Baumgartel had 16 digs and one assist.

Norfolk Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Lutheran-Northeast, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-7.

Norfolk Catholic has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] on the 11th. As for Lutheran-Northeast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Hartington-Newcastle on the 12th.
