Volleyball Recap: Valor Christian Takes a Loss

Valor Christian and Legacy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Valor Christian had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Lightning.

Valor Christian's offense was headlined by Justin Barwind and Reed Fisk, who picked up 15 kills apiece. They got some help from Darren Wright and his 33 assists. Barwind was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Valor Christian's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Legacy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

Valor Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Legacy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Grandview on the 10th.
