New Smyrna Beach won the last time they faced Deltona and things went their way on Friday too. The Barracudas took down the Wolves 26-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Barracudas.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Smyrna Beach to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jace Payne, who threw for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 54 yards. Another rusher making a difference was Todd Cutler Jr, who rushed for 121 yards and one TD.

New Smyrna Beach's defense stepped up as well, laying out Jeremiah Hancock four times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

New Smyrna Beach's record now sits at 6-2. As for Deltona, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
