The
Massachusetts Girls Volleyball Coaches Association will hold its annual instructional clinic on Saturday, March 5, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Reebok International Headquarters in Canton, Mass.
This year's clinician will be Marquette University head coach
Bond Shymansky, who led the Golden Eagles to a 23-9 record last fall, and a semifinal appearance in the Big East Conference playoffs.
Last season's clinic, which was attended by a MGVCA-record 201 coaches, was conducted by University of Florida assistant coach Dave Boos.
Also scheduled to attend the 2011 event will be
American Volleyball Coaches Association senior manager Ashley Beil. MaxPreps.com partners with both the MGVCA and the AVCA.

The day-long series of activities will conclude with a social hour and informal question and answer period.
The MGVCA clinic is open to varsity, junior varsity and freshmen head coaches in all states, as well as assistants coaches at all levels. Those attending must be MGVCA members, though membership is free with the submission of complete contact information (name, home address, phone, and e-mail).
The cost of the clinic is $70 each for MGVCA member coaches and their assistants. A 10-percent group discount is available for three or more affiliated coaches; 20-percent discounts may be applied for five or more affiliated coaches who attend together.
"This has been a wonderful event for the entire New England region," noted MGVCA President Rob Slavin of
