Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt managed to slip by Franklin the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Roughriders lost 17-2 to the Quakers on Tuesday. The Roughriders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Quakers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Roosevelt's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-5. As for Franklin, they moved to 4-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Roosevelt will be playing at home against Cleveland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Roughriders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Franklin, they are taking a road trip to challenge Grant at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
