Volleyball Recap: Marcellus Takes a Loss

Marcellus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Howardsville Christian Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Marcellus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Howardsville Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Marcellus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Climax-Scotts on the 25th. As for Howardsville Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Fennville on the 25th.
