Basketball Recap: Zuni Comes Up Short

Zuni was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Tohatchi Cougars 57-17. The match marked the Thunderbirds' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Zuni's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Tohatchi, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Thunderbirds face off against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Thoreau will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Zuni surely won't give up without a fight. Tohatchi does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
