Mountain View hadn't done well against Timpview recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bruins blew past the Thunderbirds 17-7. Considering the Bruins have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Mountain View hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 5-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
