Basketball Recap: Capuchino Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Capuchino and Gunderson squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Capuchino had to settle for second. They took a 47-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gunderson Grizzlies.

Capuchino's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Dominic Vanden Berghe, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds, and Matthew Alas, who posted 12 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Christian Rodriguez, who earned five points.

Capuchino has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. Gunderson is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Capuchino nor Gunderson have any future games scheduled.
