Football Game Preview: Webster vs. Clark/Willow Lake

Clark/Willow Lake will challenge Webster on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Clark/Willow Lake are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.

After a big victory against Wilmot/Waubay/Summit two weeks ago, Clark/Willow Lake came back down to earth. Clark/Willow Lake had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it last Friday as the team lost 27-28 to Britton-Hecla. Clark/Willow Lake's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Webster put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Great Plains Lutheran as the squad secured a 54-0 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-0.

Webster's victory lifted them to 4-1 while Clark/Willow Lake's loss dropped them down to 5-1. In their victory, Webster relied heavily on junior Coby Reetz, who rushed for 66 yards and 2 touchdowns. Clark/Willow Lake will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
