Volleyball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the ED White Commanders, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: ED White scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for ED White, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Riverside has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Paxon School For Advanced Studies on the 3rd. As for ED White, they are taking a road trip to take on KIPP Bold City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
