Basketball Recap: Wheatland Wins Going Away Against Lakeland

Wheatland won the last time they faced Lakeland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wheatland Mules blew past the Lakeland Vikings 58-32. The Mules have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 24 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Wheatland and bumps their season record up to 12-2. As for Lakeland, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Wheatland will be taking part in a tournament against Warsaw at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeland, they will challenge Midway at 5:30 p.m. on February 4th.
