Basketball Recap: Tri-Cities Piles Up the Points Against Arabia Mountain

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tri-Cities). They blew past the Arabia Mountain Rams 82-51 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 4th (when they won 88-47).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tri-Cities to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tre Keith, who shot 75% from the field to rack up 23 points. The contest was Keith's fifth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydin Brown, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards.

Tri-Cities was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. They racked up 13 more assists than Arabia Mountain's also-impressive total of ten.

Despite the loss, Arabia Mountain still got an impressive performance from Player #1, who went 5-for-9 en route to 11 points. Another player making a difference was Player #2, who posted five points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

The win made it two in a row for Tri-Cities and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points over those games. As for Arabia Mountain, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Tri-Cities has already played their next game, a 74-66 loss against Decatur on the 6th. As for Arabia Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-46 defeat against Shiloh on the 5th.
