Softball Recap: Dexter Takes a Loss

Dexter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Central Red Devils, falling 13-5. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in June of 2025.

Desiree Adams made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Dexter's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dexter will face off against rival Orono at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Penquis Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
