Basketball Recap: Johnsburg Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

Johnsburg won the last time they faced Genoa-Kingston and things went their way on Friday too. The Johnsburg Skyhawks snuck past the Genoa-Kingston Cogs with a 55-51 victory.

Johnsburg has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Genoa-Kingston, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Johnsburg and Plano will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Plano is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.4 points per game this season. As for Genoa-Kingston, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Polo at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
