Basketball Recap: Noah Dolinsky's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Valley Regional over Coginchaug Regional

Valley Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 66-46 to the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Valley Regional lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Noah Dolinsky, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Rex Grabowski, who earned eight points and 11 rebounds.

Valley Regional's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Coginchaug Regional, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Hale Ray the next time they take the court. Coginchaug Regional will host Hale Ray at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Valley Regional will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
