Brownell Talbot entered their tilt with Falls City on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers.

The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 24-26, 25-17, 25-23.

Quinn Iverson paced Brownell Talbot's offense, picking up 22 kills. Iverson got some help from Becky Hoban and her 51 assists. Iverson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Abbi Gibbs, each putting up two.

Brownell Talbot's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Falls City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Coming up, Brownell Talbot will face off against Roncalli Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Falls City, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Conestoga at 6:00 p.m. on October 9.
