If Heights was feeling good fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Fort Bend Clements on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Heights Bulldogs lost 10-4 to the Randle Lions on Friday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Heights got a good showing from Aiden McCormick, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Heights saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris-Angel Jimenez, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Heights' loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Randle, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heights will head out to challenge Nimitz at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Randle, they will take on Cypress Ridge in a tournament on Saturday.
