Soccer Recap: Jasper Takes a Loss

Jasper lost against Vidor back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jasper Bulldogs fell just short of the Vidor Pirates by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

Jasper dropped their record down to 10-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Vidor, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jasper will square off against Hardin-Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jasper is facing Hardin-Jefferson at the right time seeing as Hardin-Jefferson is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Vidor, they will face off against Silsbee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
