Baseball Recap: Postville Comes Up Short

Postville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Clayton-Ridge Eagles, falling 14-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-2 loss on Friday.

Postville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Clayton-Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Postville will head out to take on Kee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clayton-Ridge, they will venture away from home to face off against South Winneshiek at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
