Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Monroe). They never let the Downsville Demons get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rebels needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

West Monroe's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-16. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Downsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Monroe will host Sterlington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Downsville, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Claiborne Christian at 5:30 p.m.
