Soccer Game Preview: Ridgeview Global Studies Academy vs. Ridge Community

The Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers will square off against the Ridge Community Bolts at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Ridgeview Global Studies Academy is headed into their match with Ridge Community looking for a result a bit more satisfying than what they got in their season opener against Lakeland on Monday. Neither the Explorers nor the Dreadnaughts could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Ridgeview Global Studies Academy hit Lakeland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Madison Farrelly, Eleanor Maris, and Rachel Spor.

Meanwhile, Ridge Community fell victim to Auburndale and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Bloodhounds.

Ridgeview Global Studies Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Ridge Community when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Explorers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bolts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
