Baseball Recap: Coyle Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Coyle's offense. They fell just short of the Ripley Warriors by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Bluejackets haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Coyle's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Ripley, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coyle has already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Mulhall-Orlando on the 7th. As for Ripley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Davenport on the 7th.
